When you book a walk or contact us, we collect your name, email, phone number (if provided), and any information you share in your message. For paid bookings, payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
To respond to your inquiry, confirm bookings, send you relevant trail information (parking, weather, what to bring), and very occasionally to email past walkers about new seasonal offerings. You can unsubscribe anytime.
Our site uses a small number of cookies for basic functionality and anonymous usage analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing. We share data only with service providers (e.g., Stripe for payments) strictly as needed to deliver our services.
We keep booking records for 5 years for accounting and legal reasons, then delete them. You can request earlier deletion of your personal data at any time.
As we operate in Finland and the EU, you have the right under the GDPR to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto).
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care.
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
